The Songbird by Marcia Willett

The SongbirdA beautifully written novel about life, love, secrets, betrayal, finding yourself and much more.

The story is linked together by a place, Brockscombe near Dartmoor. Here the characters all meet up, all with their own reasons for being there and all with problems of varying degrees.

Very moving story with a cast of very believable characters who engage you in their various stories.

Most are family to one degree or another, except Tim, who needed somewhere to go to think about news he had received.

Life changes for all as the story develops, I won’t reveal what happens but I suggest you read the book yourself to see. Very enjoyable.
