Bring Me Home by Alan Titchmarsh

Bring me HomeI found it hard to get into this book, very slow at the beginning. It improved as the story moved on though.

It’s set in the Highlands of Scotland, a family story, passing inheritance from generation to generation.

There’s a lot of sadness, untimely deaths, but also good times, & when they’re good they’re very good.

There’s hilarity too & even spies. A wicked stepmother appears as well.

It wasn’t unputdownable but I needed to read to the end to see what happened to the family.
