Under a Silent Moon by Elizabeth Haynes

Under a silent moonTwo crimes at almost the same time, almost in the same place: a murder of a nymphomaniac (liked both men & women) & what looks like a suicide by driving over the side of a quarry. Are they linked? That is what newly promoted DCI Smith has to discover.

I found it interesting being able to read the characters statements as taken down by the police & texts from other police officers & technicians as they were received. A different way of telling the story which helped build up the tension. It allows you to interpret the evidence alongside DCI Louisa Smith and her team. Got the right answer about the same time as they did!

A story that kept me gripped until the very last page.

Have already reserved another of her books to take on holiday.
