The Strange Fate of Kitty Easton by Elizabeth Speller

The Strange Fate of Kitty EastonSet in the small Wiltshire village of Easton Deadall, this is a dark story of love, betrayal and violence.

The main story is from 1924 at the time of the British Empire Exhibition, but it links back to the disappearance of a child in 1911 & stuff that happened in the First World War.

It’s a gripping read, lots of twists & turns. You think you know what’s going on but then something else occurs that changes your mind.

The story moves from a crumbling stately home to a centuries-old church, a recently planted maze, then off to the Exhibition where something sinister happens.

Well worth reading, I recommend it to you. I shall be reading others by Elizabeth Speller.
