Flesh and Blood by Mark Peterson

bloodSet in & around Brighton, this book starts with the murder of an undercover Police Officer at the racecourse, followed by lots more violence, some of it described very graphically – a bit much for me.

The plot though is good, drugs being behind everything that happens. One gang trying to take over from another, plus a bent copper.

Behind that is a sub-plot in the police force, stats being fiddled to make them look good by a high up officer, who threatens others. Pleased that he got his comeuppance!

Not a bad read altogether. Reserve your copy here.
