Daddy’s gone a-hunting by Mary Higgins Clark

This is the latest from a wonderful American thriller writer.

Hannah is plunged into a web of horror when she learns that the family-owned furniture business has been destroyed in an explosion. Worse still, Hannah’s younger sister, Kate, had been in the building at the time and now lies in hospital in a coma. Why would Kate be in the warehouse at night? Did she set the explosion in order to claim the insurance money?

No matter what the subject, Clark manages to have you literally on the edge of your seat as you discover a tale of family secrets and lies. You also know that it’s all going to end well, and this is what makes her books all the more enjoyable!

  1. Took this book on holiday (no ebooks for me!) & read it sitting outside on sunny evenings. Great plot, lots of action, leading to an exciting climax.
I’ve read nearly all Mary Higgins Clark books & would recommend them – not too taxing on the brain!
