If on a winter’s night a traveller by Italo Calvino


Reminds me of  Zafon’s Shadow of the wind. Found it stimulating, challenging and complicated. Quite a bit of new vocabulary! I really got involved in each individual story and was disappointed not to find out what would happen next, even when I knew that would end at the close of the chapter.

I like the ending! I’d already thought I’d like to read it again, and the ending is an invitation to do just that!
