Night music by Jojo Moyes

Financial problems mean a young mother and widow is forced to give up her London home to take over a distant relative’s dilapidated property in Norfolk, the ‘Spanish House’. This move stirs up the locals, particularly those who had been waiting on the cantankerous elderly man for years hoping to inherit the property. Unscrupulous builders, greedy property developers and suspicious locals. Who can the widow trust?

I read this after being first introduced to this writer’s work with ‘Me before you’, and I have to say I enjoyed this just as much.  I liked the build up of suspense, the setting, and the explosive ending. What’s next? I’m hooked.
