The best exotic Marigold Hotel by Deborah Moggach

This is a beautifully written, thought-provoking book.

You’ll meet a wonderful array of characters – including the elderly father who lands on his daughter’s doorstep after being thrown out of the home he has been in, after groping the young female staff, and the mother who is burgled and starts to not feel safe in her own home.

All end up at the doors of a slightly dilapidated retirement home in India. It’s funny, poignant and sad by turns and I can’t believe I’ve missed this author.

Enjoy!
