Booze for free by Andy Hamilton
March 14, 2012
I was lucky enough to get a copy of this brilliant book for Christmas and now I’m eagerly awaiting the right season to make many of the drinks in the book.
I’m particularly taken by the rose petal vodka and the beech leaf liqueur.
I’m fairly new to brewing, I’ve made the usual sloe gin and had a runaway success with elderflower champagne- and my other half devoted much of the autumn to babying along his cider demijohns- but this book has given me the confidence to branch out and try new things.
My house will be full of suspiciously coloured bottles by the autumn!
